MORE THOUGHTS FOR AN IMPROVED LIFESTYLE

  • Consider raw dairy products.  Don't be afraid.  If it isn't pasteurized, it contains all its original enzymes, fats and proteins in an undamaged state.  Some find raw milk more tolerable because lactase is more abundant (the enzyme that breaks down the lactose protein).
  • Consider eating less store-bought meat.  Same reasons as for raw dairy.  All supermarket dairy and meat has been pasteurized and/or irradiated.  Many undercover stories have aired regarding the meat industry.
  • Don't microwave your food!  It changes the very structure of food into something the body doesn't recognize so digestion is poor.  The magnatron, aka microwave, was first used as a weapon of warfare in WWII.
  • Have some personal time.  That means it's just you doing something you love to do.  It can be running, video games, reading, etc as long as it isn't work-related.  You'd be surprised what a 30 minute run without your phone can do for your mind!
  • Do a simple breathing technique twice daily.  Try this.  Stand or sit up very straight.  Breathe (with your diaphragm as much as possible) in to a count of 7.  Hold for a count of 4.  Exhale firmly and completely to a count of 8.  Repeat two more times.
  • Don't be strict to the point of hating life.  I used to be like that.  If I saw something I needed to change, I did it immediately and to the fullest extent I could.  You need to be discplined in your changes but allow yourself a little freedom.
  • Try going outside every day.  Breathing outside air is much better for you than stale air from inside a building.  Even if you just go outside for lunch, it will make a positive difference.  More oxygen means more opportunity to expel toxins.
  • Get some sun.  Let the warm summer sunshine hit your bare skin (no sunscreen).  On average, you can make 15,000 IU of Vitamin D from a 15 minute sunning session.  If you'll be out longer, it's a good idea to use some natural sunscreen, a hat or the shade of a tree.
